The SMS API is reporting-only — it reads results from campaigns you’ve already sent. It does not send messages. Sending stays inside Culper, where A2P 10DLC compliance, opt-outs, and quiet hours are enforced.
Sending texts through an API is intentionally not offered. Political SMS is tightly regulated (TCPA, carrier A2P rules); keeping sends inside Culper is what keeps campaigns compliant.
