Setup
Connect your sending domain
For best deliverability, verify your campaign’s domain:- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Email
- Enter your campaign domain (e.g.,
smithforcouncil.com) - Add the provided DNS records to your domain registrar
- Click Verify
Don’t have a campaign domain? Culper can send from a shared domain (
campaign@mail.theculpernetwork.com), but your own domain significantly improves open rates.Set your sender name and reply-to
In Settings → Email, set:- Sender name — what recipients see in the From field (e.g., “Jane Smith for City Council”)
- Reply-to email — where replies go (can be your personal campaign email)
Creating a campaign
- Go to Dashboard → Outreach → New Email Campaign
- Select your audience — any saved voter list
- Choose or create a template
- Write your subject line and email body
- Preview to see it on desktop and mobile
- Send or Schedule for later
Templates
Culper includes a simple drag-and-drop template editor. Start from a blank canvas or use one of the provided starters:- Fundraising ask

- Issue update
